Profile for GEJS Stoker and Solar Heating since 1974
1974 Gunner Eriksen started GEJS, who built some of Denmarks first irrigationmaschines for agriculture. The word GEJS came from the initials Gunner Eriksen and Jorgen Simonsen. JS was the blacksmith who in the beginning helped welding the maschines together. Beside own production GEJS had import of drag-in-irrigationsmaschines used for both field and park. Today more than 2000 GEJS irrigationmachines is running, mainly in Denmark.
1993 Gunner Eriksen sell to the sons Jan & Henrik Eriksen, whom since have owned GEJS.
2000 GEJS Stoker came along. With drop in the number of farmers, Jan & Henrik Eriksen were looking for a product, which better could fill out the winterperiods with work. The choice was stoker systems, because GEJS bought a system for their new building in 2000. The stoker system was from another danish manufacturer.
It quickly turned out that the system was filled with problems and at the same time difficult to clean. GEJS meant they could do this better! Sold the system and started developing. A year later 100 systems were running successfully. Like this GEJS had both irrigationmachines and stokersystem until 2006.
2006 GEJS irrigation part were sold off, to focus only on heating. At the same time export to the North, Great Britain and Germany was started. Today 2009 more than 1300 GEJS stokersystems are running.
2008 Solarheating came along. This was well suited with the stokersystem, which this way could be turned off in the summertime.
2009 Accumulationtanks and boilers for solid fuel came along. Today the production is stokersystems, boilers, solarheating and acckumulationtanks, which is offered directly to the customer or through our approximately 120 dealers.
GEJS stoker and solarheating is a smaller and flexible Jutlandic firm with solid solutions, possible after the customers needs. GEJS are good prices, solid quality where good service is a matter of course.
